Family Math Night was held on June 2 from . Parents and students chose activities from four different math stations. A math-related raffle was conducted as well. It was a great night of learning and community-building!

"Coffee with a Cop"
Thank you to Mary Fabian, Crime Prevention Specialist HPD, for coordinating Coffee with a Cop. We are thankful for the many Tyrrell parents, neighbors and community members that participated to learn more about our community, and get to know Hayward Police Officers. Special thanks to Police Chief, Diane Urban, and staff for their dedication to our community.

Tyrrell Elementary School is a uniform school. Students are expected to wear uniforms every day.
TOPS – White with a collar (polo shirt, blouse)
BOTTOMS – Tan (pants, shorts, jumpers, or skirts with shorts underneath)
OUTERWEAR – Black (sweaters, sweatshirts)
Wearing a uniform to school instills a sense of community, unity, and school pride. In addition, uniforms contribute to the overall safety of Tyrrell.
